Who We Are

Acrilex was founded by Harold Sarvetnick, entrepreneur, and chemical engineer in the early 1970’s. This era was the beginning of the petrochemical / plastic industrialization that exploded with plastic sheets and products worldwide.

Acrilex started as a small cell cast manufacturer, specializing in custom colors and expanding the ACRIGLAS® product line to include glitter, marble, pearlescent and textured sheets. 

Acrilex quickly grew from a niche cell cast manufacturer, to a regional distributor.  Serving the Tri-State Market and the growing customer demand in various industries including POP, Lighting, Signage, Scenery & Production, Military Spec and more.

Our company expanded from a single location based in New Jersey, to 3 stocking sales and warehouse operations in NJ, PA, and NC.  Our Fabrication facilities also grew to include numerous CNC Routers, Lasers, and Schelling Saws.

In early 2022, we moved into a new facility in Irvington NJ, where we phased out of the custom casting part of our business and shifted focus by investing in new state of the art equipment and expanding our fabrication capabilities.
